Patient discussions
Patients should be evaluated if they develop symptoms of complications from CRVO or BRVO such as vitreous haemorrhage or tractional retinal detachment. If patients experience a large amount of floaters and/or flashing lights, then they should be seen by their ophthalmologist. Also, if the patients have central blurring develop, this may be a sign of cystoid macular oedema, and they should notify their ophthalmologist when this occurs.
