A 52-year-old woman presents with a 3-month history of dry cough and throat irritation. She reports intermittent nasal congestion and the sensation of something dripping into the back of her throat, which necessitates frequent throat-clearing. She also reports a persistent discomfort arising from the presence of mucus in her throat. Oropharyngeal exam reveals visible mucus and a cobblestone appearance to the mucosa. There is no evidence of a laryngeal lesion. Pulmonary exam is normal.
