Breech presentation

Fetal presentation should be assessed using clinical examination at each antenatal visit in late second and third trimesters.

Any women with suspected breech or other non-cephalic presentation, or those difficult to assess (e.g., with abnormal amniotic fluid volume or placental anomalies), should have an ultrasound to confirm fetal presentation.
