Monitoring
Children with complex nocturnal episodes and violent parasomnias should be followed up closely to make sure that the treatment administered is effective and well tolerated. Patients on antidepressants to treat parasomnias should be closely monitored for evidence of excessive sedation, behavioural disturbances, and suicidal ideation.[68]
