OnabotulinumtoxinA (formerly known as botulinum toxin type A)
Intramuscular injections of onabotulinumtoxinA into the intrinsic muscles of the dominant hand may reduce tremor by weakening the muscles or blocking motor actions.[77][131] The treatment is of modest benefit and limited because it causes weakness. It may be more useful in the treatment of head tremor, but again data are limited.
